Adventures in netting -SoCal

If anyone knows a decent place in orange county to go netting (especially if there are aquatic insects) lemme know.
Heres what I got today. Didn't do well at all. Got a fishing spider of some sort, a sunfish, and a bunch of gambusia.

i know a place there... i think.... isnt fugupuff in oc ? i would guess u can net some pretty nice stuff from there hehe jkjk

And i heard of i pacu being caught in puddingston recently not sure if its true lol

I'm pretty sure those are a protected fish, I used to go 4wheeling there and there were signs to keep us out of the creeks so not to disturb the fish. I remember they did resemble an algae eater.

supposedly you can catch cichlids in a creek in trabuco canyon, or somewhere out by irvine, out in the woodwork though, have never been...
