Ordered a 3-4" NGT, ended up getting shipped on the wrong day (Monday). Didn't get home from work until Wednesday morning, picked the little dude up figuring he was dead, turns out he's not. Quickly acclimated him with the drip method and got him into the tank as quick and safely as possible. Turned the lights on this morning to actually get a good look at him and he's covered in ich and is extremely skinny as well as ammonia burn on the fins ( which I expected ). He's in a 36 gallon hospital tank with a fx4 and sponge filter, I've got the temps sitting at 84*F and added salt to the tank. Should I even offer food, I'm honestly skeptical that it'll even be living by the time I finish my 14 hour shift at the hospital, but it did survive the night and is active. Should I attempt to feed it? or is there anything else you all would suggest I do other than the salt and waiting.
