Need the experts advice here...
I am getting my 1st blackie soon,have read around that its best to put in a white base tank or clearbase to improve or maintain the white spots until certain size.
The problem is my tank is already black base
1. Will the smaller spots at the edge maintain or gets smaller or worse, disappear as the rays grow in a black tank?
2. Will it stop new spots from appearing on the ray?
3. If its in the genes, when matured the spots should come even if its in the black tank right?
And if possible i do not want to put sand or tiles in the tank.
Any advice would be appreciated
