Advice for Arowana-sitting...I'll be gone for a week

My buddy is gonna come feed my fish while I'm in Texas for Christmas. I feed my fish once or twice a day, but I'm not gonna ask him to do that. If they get fed every other day, what do you all think are the chances my aro will get hungry and pick off a frontosa?

does your arowana eat aro stick foods? i would just get an auto-feeder. at least it will be easier for you and easier for your friend. but not easy on the pocket.

dont feed him too much while ur gone. a 1 meal per every other day will be ideal.
if the frontosa cant fit in its mouth then it wont probably try to eat it. anyway, how will u be gone? will ur friend gonna do the water changes too?
