Hello everyone. In the next couple of months i will be moving. And, at the new house there will be lots more room. So, I will be getting a 90g or 75g, most likely a 90g. I want to do the entire thing, planted with T5 HO, pressurized co2, and EI dosing the N-P-K, trace, and iron chelate(iron dose necessary?). I will have 1in of Potting soil mixed with a bag of flourite, and 1in of EcoComplete capping the soil, maybe more if needed. I have thought about getting a 48" Hagen glo double tubes, but then saw fishneedit.com's packages. This will be my first serious planting tank (have a few plants in a 20g with capped soil, but nothing else and crappy t8 bulb).
I noticed with aquarium supplies that the bigger, the little more it cost with heaters and t5 lighting. I may have Hagen fluval fx5, but at least a fluval 405. Not sure how i would stock, may use a shoal or angels. But, how well do these go together? I mean is there something here i could improve, or try it a different way? I am open to any advice, please tell me your opinions and how you will do it. Thanks everyone, and this forum is very good.
