Im planning to make a 1250Liter ((330G Us)) tank.
I Will build this for My 2 oscars and maybe my Channa's aswell.
I was thinking of making it either: Length* Height*Broadness?
300cm * 70cm *60cm
200cm * 100cm*60cm
Im Wandering wich option would in total be cheaper but also which will sustain plants better and which one will be easier to maintain. Pleaseadvise me

well the shorter the tank the less the thickness of the glass has to be. as far as which would be cheaper I would say price the glass or acrylic in you area and then go from there.

Good luck keeping plants with those fish. LOL

I would just go with the plywood. I don't see a real need for the steel plate.

Oscars + plants = lots of wasted money.

I'd go with the 70cm. When you get towards 100cm you can't reach the bottom, and cleaning/decorating/vacuuming becomes much more of a hassle.
