So I'm looking to set up a pirhana tank-just common red bellys. Its a 29 gal ond i was wondering what is the max number if fish i should put in it. I also need some suggestions as far as good live plants. Thanks for your help.

This is a very small grow-out tank. To keep a school of red bellies happy, consider something in the 125G Long tank size and up.

they also establish territories,If i were to be asked i would say 1-2pcs only coz even you put out 10pcs in a 29gallon it will turn out to be 2pcs as they grow and hurt or possibly eat one another, well its still a case to case basis, gudluck

29G will never do. These fish can get around a foot long. Atleast a 125G tank. Bigger always better thow.

I agree. for a 29 gal. get some exonon tetra's. you can get 10 and they seem just like little piranhas.
i have 6 in with my piraya and they are always first to anything i put in there
