advice on breeing mbuna?

hello everyone, i am 22 and new to serious fish keeping but im very interested in breeding mbuna species. I have a 40 gallon breeder tank with a 55 gal filter and heater. I also have 9 mbuna, 6 female and 3 male... can you please give any advice you can to help me in this venture? it will be greatly apprecited!

You shouldn't really have to do much work. Just let them do it all. What kind are they?

i bought them when they were about an inch long and that was in december...they are currently between 1.5 and 2.5 inches...

from what ive read they should be reaching sexual maturity so is there anything i can do to jump start the breeding?

and i was also wondering if the 40 gallon tank is big enough for the nine fish?

someone must have some good advice on getting my mbuna to breed? please help! there are three different species in my tank: Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos maingano, Labidochromis Caeruleus electric yellow, and Melanochromis Johanni. all advice is deeply appreciated please help thank you

when u do a water change add in the new water at a slightly cooler temp, this mimics large amounts of rain, it represents the rainy season which is when most fish breed, dont know if this is applicable to mbuna though
