Hello and thanks for looking.
I'm in the fortunate position in the next few months of being able to buy a large tank. Over the last few years I have developed a wish list of large fish I would like to keep and would appreciate opinions on compatibility and the size tank I would need to keep them together with the intention of keeping them to full adult size.
At the core of the aquarium I would like to keep:
Polypterus endlicheri or senegalis, a Siamese Tiger fish. a leopard Bush fish, a Blach Ghost Knife fish, and a couple of large plecs.
If these would all cohabitate happily I would like to keep a few tank mates but there is more flexibility here. I was thinking possibly a shoal of rainbow fish, a couple of large angel fish and a large silver shark.
Are there any problems here that leap out at people? I know that most of the core fish are predatory- will they exist together and what do you think about tank mates? What dimension size tank do people think would be best to keep these fish together? Sorry to start with a lot of questions!
Cheers Mike
