I made an impulse purchase today and came home with 2 baby retiulated teacup rays, a friend of mine keeps motoros with her discus and i plan to keep these with my discus. My tanks are all barebottom big daily WCS. I could use some advice on diet..my discus eat freeze dried blackworm, beefheart mix, brine shrimp, and sera pellets. Should I add anything specific to satisfy my new rays? any other tips or suggestions are welcome! thanks in advance!

Earthworms chopped up small enough for them to eat. Live ghost shrimp. Only things my retics will eat as of yet. Eventually you will want to get them on market shrimp and fish like tilapia, and then pellets. Not a fun chore to switch them over lol.

+1 but I would start with live blackworms. You have to feed them lots of worms! Hopefully they will eat chopped red wigglers. They sell them as trout worms at Walmart and petsmart. Good luck retics are notoriously bad eaters and often die from starvation. Any pics of the rays?

Lots of live blackworms... and worm them...worm them.. worm them.. they are full of parasites more often then not. Likely why alot of them die.
