Advice on LED light strips

I want to build an 8 foot led light. Anybody know the best led light strips I should be looking for. Looking not to spend to much cash but I do like the idea of changing colors in the lights. Looking to get a current truelumen my lfs has them now.

Current USA satellite system. They come in 44" strips. And you can change the colors by remote. Check out their website I just hooked up 3 of them. I love them

I've used 5050 LED strip, you can search in ebay. It's good and cheap! Comsumption about 72 watts/5m No hot to your tank!
