Advice on picky eater (jag)

I've had my jag for about 2 years now and he's never refused food before. Recently he started chewing and spitting out his pellets (massivore, omega one) I did the recommended starving for 3-4 days and he started eating massivore again but he still won't eat the omega one.

What can I do now?

Sounds like a typical Jag to me. I think they get more finicky as they get older.

So is getting him back to eating both pretty much a lost cause now?

Mine is pretty picky as well...some days he won't touch the pellets but will devour flake..I use tetracichlid cichlid crisps...he loves those....

If you've had him a couple of years, he's now a full grown adult jag and doesn't need to eat every day any way.
