The lake I fish is currently overrun with snakheads, but it is also at the same time overrun with every other species in there if that makes sense. However, the snakeheads are too small for conventional lures but seem to be big enough and smart enough to avoid the tackle I use for fish around the same size. Any advice on what I could use? They do seem to go after live prey near the surface. Are crickets the answer?

What type of snakeheads ? You could attach a little frog or an insect to a string and drag it around to attract the attention of the swarm and then net them out.

just the usual c.argus, northerns
