I want to set up a zebra plec (L098) tank, what I want to know is how big should the tank be?Is it possible to keep them together?I'm not planning to set one up straight away, just want to do all the research then maybe in a month or so I'll set it up.

I'm sure the experts will be on to advise shortly, but the main question is. Where are you getting zebra pleco's from?
I'm not sure yet, but I was speaking to someone from wildwoods and they said they could get it for me - but after recieving a gold nugget by post who had a sunken belly I'm not so sure anymore. The gold nugget gave me so many worries and I don't want to go through that again, might not be so lucky.
ive never kept these so i don't know too much. they don't get big so you wouldn't need a big tank. here is some info

I looked at the link, and I think I can see one tank with three zebras in there, so it is possible to keep the, together then, providing they have their own homes?! I wouldn't be planning on bredding or anything like that, more of another nice tank to add! But I've fallen in love with the L number catfishes, so I've decided that I will be keeping zebras.

by the way that was not from an lfs or online that looking at those prices, its a smal reliable local breeder - in my area, so was thinking of getting the fish anyway. it would be better to have fish that were tank bred with the water that is in my local area, dont you think?
