ADVICE PLS - Red Wolf fish

Hi people just a little advice.

I was wondering if i could keep a Red Wolf Fish (Erythrinus Erythrinus)
with other fish?! It would be going in my 4ft till it was big enough for my 5ft.
The Fish i have are listed below I have read it would be ok but id just like to check with use before i bought it.

Yeah, it the 4 ft tank I'm predicting issues with the Assam. I would decide between the two and just keep it in the 4 ft tank. The fish in your 5 ft tank are too big for an ery ery. If you want a wolf in the 5ft tank, look into getting a Hoplias.

Sounds good, Not seen a Hoplias for sale yet tho. Thought they had to be kept alone?! Why do u think there would be problems with the Assam?

The wolf would eventually kill ur Assam. For some reason certain fish dislike other fish with similar body structures. Both the ery ery and the Assam have that long cylindrical shaped bodies. Assams aren't aggressive compared to to the wolf, so the wolf will kill it. I know because I also tried to do the same thing 12 years or so ago.

Looks like the Ery will have to be put on hold then, my GF picked the Assam so cant just get rid.
