  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
pearl as in jardini?

use an airstone, cause you will need to keep the top very tight with heavy things on top too, aros are powerful jumpers and very precise also

what do you have in the tank now??

when do they get big enough to worry about a lid?
my lid is cracked atm , and i want to try a DIY canopy. my jardini is around 4-6 inches, im not sure though. this one has never tried jumping yet though.
my other , died because he was a jumper. he didnt jump out of the tank, but past the divider into my piranha side T_T

ALL ARRO'S JUMP! COVER IT! Otherwise you will have a driedout fish again.

With aros I'd always worry about the lid. Even if they can't knock it out of place, they can slip through cracks. I'd prepare the new DIY canopy or put something over the crack right away. An aro is a bad thing to lose. Aros grow fast anyway, do something ASAP.

:D What size of tank do you have?? You kno that jards can grow over 2 feet! and Tiger shovel nose catfish can grow up to 5 feet! :D
