Hey all i have a sole senegal bichir alone in a 55 gallon freshwater tank. He lost all if his tankmate dur to a ick infection. they all droped dead in a matter of hours but the ick didnt phase him. I did all the treatments to the water and now I am ready to restock my tank. Any suggestion for tankmates? I was thinking a school of 3 or 4 silver dollars and some kind of scavenger to clean up the floor of the tank. My birchir has never acted aggresive toward any bottom dwelling tankmate before unless it was a feeder fish. Any other suggestion would be gladly appreciated

Well, back when I had my Sen. in a Planted 55G,. My tank had 1 Fire Eel, 2 Balas, 3 CT and a Cat. Sounds like an odd mix but it actually looked really good. Although you would need a bigger tank down the road. My Bala's Are HUGE!
