iam curretnyl getting ready to construct a 538 gallon plywood/acrylic aquarium i have a pond filter from lowes i used on a 400 gallon pond rated for 800-1200 gallons could i make this work for this set up and what would be my be way about it i was thinking having the sumerisable on one side on the bottom and run the return line to other side and make a pvc t on it with holes drilled to allow a trickle effect and create some type of current the actual tank demienison are 3'wide x 8'long x 3'high the fish in it will be a pair of oscars a pair of jack dempeseny a pair of orange parrots and 3 plecos and a couple craw fish and snails also whats should i do for lighting and live plants for tank?
