I am building an internal filter for my 60 gallon aquarium. Here are my plans please give advise on any part of this.
I already bought an submersable filter from the hardware store, I plan on building a tray that the pump will push water through, where the water will go through first a disposable filter that contains carbon and then through some ceramic or plastic medium, and then back into the tank.
Will this work?
What medium should i use?
Am I missing any steps for filtration? I'm just going off the design of my side mount filter.
