so ive been battling mouthrot lately, and yes i have read the stickies about it.
heres what ive done-
turned down temp to 74-76
added salt at 1tbs per 5g of water
treated tank for 2 weeks with jungle fungus tabs, mouth rot almost was completely gone, so i stopped treatment thinking i had beat it and it was on its way out. this was last week.
now the mouth rot is back, should i use the same meds or try something different, say maracyn, and continue treatement for a week after all signs are gone to make shure i beat it?
i used the jungle tabs because the box says it treats mouth rot(its also a bacterial med, mouth rot is a bacteria) and i can treat my 180 for $6 a week, no other med i can buy locally is that cheap. it was working good, i think i just should have continued treatement longer.
