Hey guys i'm new to the planted tanks so i'm here hoping you guys can help me i love keeping fish in my planted tank of course and was thinking of some Denison Barbs to go with my rainbows but i dont know much about them except they are often in planted tanks i was hoping someone here could help me out.

Denesoni barbs (also known as Torpedo Barbs), are in limited supply due to the difficulty in captive breeding. The price is high as a result. They are a peaceful community fish, reaching lengths of about 6 inches. They get along fine with rainbows; though many rainbows require a more alkaline ph than many plant tanks are set at. In addition, rainbows seem to have a taste for some plants. I hope this information is of some help to you. -Andrew
