I've tried to search this site about this filter system but could not not find any regarding this particular system. Anyone here uses it? If so can you show me pictures of your setup and what kind of media do you use. Any advice or comments will be useful. Sorry if there is a thread about this please forward me to the right thread. Thank you

It looks like any other wet dry system just a little cooler. Mechanical on top something like filter floss or a small micron sponge then your bio. You could use anything for bio, plastic pot scrubbies, bioballs, ceramic rings, plastic jacks, a larger porosity sponge, lava rock any type of media used for bio.

thanks for response. do you have any recommendations as which bio medias is good to use?

Well really not a whole lot of differences just surface area. Since you can see it you probably don't want multi colored pot scrubbies in there but those are going to be your best bang for the buck and actually the largest surface area. Next would probably be lava rock, that's going to need to be rinsed, also depending on where you get it make sure it's not treated with anything. Big box stores sell bags of like 20lbs for $7 or $8. Bioballs have great surface area and hard to tell from pic but chambers look small they make down to .5" balls. If you are looking for name branded stuff matrix, biochem, fluval, all make a ceramic media plus a ton of others. Try this video looks to have alot of good variety of the produced stuff.
