Whats up guys/gals. I'm back again and I need your help. I'm writing another I.D. article and I am looking for pictures. If you don't mind me using your pics in a small article, I'd appreciate the help. I will credit you by mentioning your screen name or real name (which ever you prefer) at the end of the article.

I'm looking for Juvenile (3-4 inches) gold saum, (2-3 inches) pulcher.
Young adult (5-6 inches) gold saum, (4-5 inches) pulcher.
and Adult (8-10+ inches) gold saum, (6-8+ inches) pulcher.

Veterans: Do you know of any fool proof way to differentiate pulcher from a gold saum?

Thanks for the help!

well i can tell them apart no prob, but most Saums have alot more orange/red on the dorsal and tail fins edge. they also have larger heads/foreheads than the acara they bulk up quicker even as a slow growing fish. coloration is number one for me i can tell if the irredesent greens and blue don't look right for however they have the fish labeled. i have to correct alot of them when i go to the LFS

Hey AK, thanks for the pointers. I have to ask, are those all your pictures? I cannot use them unless they are yours (you took them, and they are your fish). I seem to recognize a few of those pics from the net.

sorry just googled them haha all my pics got tossed.

you never said they had to be my personal pics you just asked for pics w/ sizes. oh well you got them if ya wanna use them

I can only use pics that I have permission to use. Which is why I am posting here, otherwise I would have used google as well.

Pics please!

Thanks. :D
