Opinions please. Seems to be more colorful than pix I have seen. Dorsal fin trails off really long. Been growing him for about 5 years from 1".

Just so you know, the blue acara group now has an offical genus ... Andinoacara ... and someone is working on describing the goldsaum so it should soon have a species name as well.

OP, that's one great fish. The dorsal trailer is incredible!
 
beautiful fish! Reminds me of the one I had. I went to petsmart and my friend there said they got a shipment of 6 baby greenterrors and they were too small to put into the tanks so asked if I would take them. I did and put them im my 100 gal so they could cycle it. I know i know, that's mean, but hey! I gave them a chance to survive and they all did! And as they grew I was able to rehome them and keep the largest most beautiful one.
