aerogrow lights any good for tanks anyone try them

I have a large aerogrow light with three 65w bulbs and was wondering if this would be sufficient for a planted tank . i have lots of grow lights but because of the compact size it would suit a new project .. doesnt seem to be much info on the spectrum .

A lot would depend upon the depth of the tank. If the tank is not too deep, it should work.

Im going to guess it should work depending on what your trying to grow...

I personally run 30w T8's on my planted tank at around 18" high and i'm managing to grow HC, so at 60w and 22" high, it should be okay for most plants as long as you give them what they need fert and Co2 wise..
