I am looking for an affordable 1k gph return pump. I have been out of the hobby for a while but I used a 1500gph harbor freight pump for 2years before I sold my setup. I am looking for something similar to that.

I have a tetra 1700 gph. Ill sell it if interested. I used it for awhile, 2-3 months on my 90g reef. I had a valve to back it down if needed. I can ship it. Its in great shape.

Your welcome. Despite all the bad reviews IV had great luck with them. I have the 2500 model and the 3500 model. I also have the one I posted and they work wonderfully. They are super quiet. I use a 2500 as a power head (800gph) and I have to check it some times to make sure its working. I use the other ones in my sumps. They are simple and easy to clean.
