Hi all. Hoping someone can help. I have a 29 g with 2 jewels, a convict and an afra. the afra has been hanging out strictly at the top of the tank and anytime anyone else come near him he just rolls to the side. any thoughts would be appreciated,. Water is in great shape.

Sounds like it's really stressed out. The tank is probably too small for the current stock, unless you have a LOT of cover in there, or the fish are really small. I've heard of Hemichromis stripping the skin off of full grown Astros, they'd have no problem with a Cynotilapia.
Thanks. They are all pretty small at the moment jewels about 2.5 and the convict about 1.5. I have a 36g bowfront with 2 blue acia and 2 labs. maybe better to put him in there? There are lots of tunnels and caves in the 29. he has never shown any interest in them.
It wouldn't hurt to add some stress coat or Prime
