So I've been growing out my african aro and he's about 6". I was wondering if he was big enough to go to my main tank with a 12" tropical gar, 12" florida gar, 4.5" Ngt, 6 ntt.

Dont put Gars with African Arowan man... Unless they are exactly the same size..
My 6" Gar killed my 4" African arowana.. he was trying to eat it.. but couldn't... ended up having a african died after 20 mintues...
I would wait until the african is 8" thats better for a 12" Gar.. and Gar growth rate aren't as fast as afrowana..
