African Aro

Africans have been available here for real cheap (~15usd per ~5") and im thinking of getting one. I believe these guys are challenging to keep and could also be plankton feeders.

With the rgard to environment, would they tolerate high current levels?

Once they get to about 10" they will eat normal size food pellets prawn and most other foods

They are very aggressive and snap at other fishes gills

I had a 12" one in a tank of 9 Asian aro and it attacked everyone
At one point all 9 was pushed into a corner

So it's likely to spook out my atfs? And does it do well with high current? How does it fit with bottom dwellers? Im thinking cichlas are out of the comm for these ryt?

They dont do too well with a strong current.
Im my experience these guys were quite fragile
