I wanna say no, african cichlids are pretty aggressive. African aro are pretty peaceful.

What Size is the alleged Afro? How about the cichlids?

Afros should not be with agressive fish until they reach 12"-14". Any Afro smaller may be out competed for food and THEY EAT ALOT....
