African arowana aggressiveness

hi guys, anyways to reduce the aggressiveness in the African arowana?
I have one small one at 4inch but the moment I introduced a new 5inch Albino Gourami into the tank, the Afro keeps chasing it..

remove the gourami cause in that Aro eyes, it's food!

Doubt it sees it as food as they are filter feeders and can only swallow tiny particles.

They are extremely socially aggressive and territorial. Mine hated everything but bottom dwellers.

The gourami was the only white colored fish in the tank, could it be because of that? Cause in the same day I introduce another knife fish and the African arowana did not do anything to it

That could very well be why - but in a couple of months, the gourami is likely to kill everything else and turn the tables. Mine did. Most do.
