I don't get the chance to post much on the forums, but I thought all you MFK'ers would appreciate this! My company (Segrest Farms) just brought in a shipment of African Arowana in today--and they are AWESOME! I've rarely had the opportunity to see these fish in person, and needless to say I was waiting excitedly for them to arrive. The whole batch arrived in absolutely flawless condition and after they had settled in I had the chance to photograph one of them in my impromptu office photo studio. I was pretty pleased with how the shots came out, especially considering there really aren't that many good photos out there of the African Aro. A ton of credit is due to Mo Devlin (Aquamojo) for helping me with technique- I'm still relatively new to photography and what little I know has been the result of his advice and guidance.

Oh, and, shameless plug: check out our facebook page HERE. I'm constantly putting up pics of new rare & oddball fish. Enjoy the pics!

@redbellypiranha: we actually have a handful of LFS's in your area who order from us- check out the store locator on our site: http://www.segrestfarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=petshop.locator and get in touch with one of them ASAP, we brought in a bunch of the aros but I know they won't stick around for too long!
@richardhong: Thanks! I am very lucky- I have the coolest damn job.

The closet store to me is a petco. Could they still order me the fish?
