Hi all,

Heterotis Niloticus has appeared on some import lists and i was wondering should i get one?

I currently have a 6ftx2ftx2.5ft (lxwxh) which I know would not be good for life.

How big can i expect one to get in captivity? What size tank would be recommended?

i own one myself i believe they get from 2-3ft but most likely past 2 ft. note that they are very fragile when they are small. Mine is about 1 ft maybe less
