Man, they are badass super healthy lil suckers
Located in San Gabriel at Van Star
Saw them today when I was there.
Got a bunch of other stuff too
Dats, VATF, rare cats, puffers of all kinds.
Never really been here but sweet ass shop.
 
Drove by on Tuesday saw they had a new shipment of fish. Def the best shop for monster and not so common fish

How does someone get “scammed” on an overpriced fish..? Don’t like the price, keep walking…how can anyone bash the only store in Southern California who is bringing in rare fish from all over the world. Do your due diligence and quarantine fish when you buy them, if they don’t look healthy in store, come back in a few weeks

Im one of them that didn’t know all this, I been getting fish for years now from them I haven’t lost one yet but also been keeping fish since the early 90’s. I haven’t notice anything else strange at vanstar that you mentioned. Sounds like you have a personal grudge. Have you got fish shipped to you in the past because stress can kill them from the shipping?
