Hello guys,
be aware, your eyes could possibly explode :nilly:
Got me some Placidochromis phenochilus "Tanzania" Wildcaughts.
I got them the day before yesterday and one female has eggs in mouth :D
Sorry the tank doesn´t look so nice, they are just in "quarantine".

nice, are they rare?

In some parts yes. They grow slowly and the males only speckle up once they are mature, hence why you don't see a lot of them around. Wild caughts are sometimes available and man they are worth it. Had a group of 5.

Hello,
thx for the comments.

They are not "really rare" you can get them here at many Malawi Breeders, but seldom in stores. And the ones in stores are mostly bad Quality, they seem to be mature at 5-6cm. So the best would be to buy at Breeders or Malawi-Specialist Fishstores.

So now second Female has eggs in mouth and I have 20 babys in a outgrow tank :)
I try go make me a big Group.
