I was just in one of our LFR's and noticed a fish that was labeled as a African Black Knife. I wasn't sure about their ID on this particular fish. First of all, it was brown. Secondly, it had a beige line running down it's back, like a BGK. Also, the caudual and anal fins were brownish with an almost translucent, slightly see-through look. The BGK has a solid, opague fins. This fish had a tail that was long but not lke that of the BGK. The typical African Black Knife is a dull, grey/brown, plain fish with no extension on it's tail, as in the tail of a BGK. The store clerk swore that the label was correct. Have any of you seen a fish that resembles the fish that I have described? I'm interested in possibly getting the fish, but I want to be sure of what I have.African Black Knife?

i just got a african brown knife from some one on this site and its a darkish brown and is a solid color.......
