Have you tested your water?
No
If I did not test my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes
If I do not change my water...

I've had this male ABK for at least 5years, has grown a bit but not much - which is apparently normal.
It came to the shop & to me with an oversized belly, I figured it ate well in the shop & still very much does. However, recently the tank's feeding upped with new clown loaches & big silverdollars, and his the belly's looking bigger - more food, great, but his head/neck & tail seem to be looking a little gaunt vs online photos. Maybe it's time to accept that it's been an issue all-along...

What might be the parasite?
Susceptibility of this species to meds?
Remove from the tank & treat, or treat the tank?
