african brown knife with a clown knife?

im sure this has been asked but i couldnt find it. the brown knife is fully grown about 8 or 9 inches. and the clown is the same size.

i was curious if anyone has had luck keeping them together short term till the clown get bigger. or even full teerm.

im trying to introduce the brown knife to the tank. so far they have stood off to each other and kinda nudge one another with their heads but no biting. then shortly after both were in the same cave for a while.

i just dont think ill get any sleep. right now they are eating together so thats a good sign.

If they're the same size it should be fine, but ABK aren't that thick, I think when it's well grown the CK might eat it.

yea when the clown gets a few inches bigger hes being moved into another tank.
as of today everything is fine with no scars lol. and i think the smaller brown knife is the boss of the tank now... he ran the clown out of his cave and to another one. i guess it helps that they have never ate live food before.
