Ive had them for about 2 weeks, just moved the tank closer to a window. One fish turned almost white and the other stayed dark. Any info on this? Could it be dying?

Might be stressed. Check ur water quality. Make sure it’s clean. Fish can change color from
bad water. Provide some more floating plants.

I went to get floating moss and the lfs screwed mee and sold my guppy grass... i didnt know what it was so i dumped it straight into the tank... last time i go there

I'd definitely agree that it's probably all do to stress, and to get more floating plants. It also probably wouldn't hurt to turn the light down on the tank if ya can to help reduce stress. Also I would suggest adding another 2 butterflies to the tank to help disperse aggression in the tank, from the way it looks to me the one is stressed because it has nowhere to hide from the other fish in the tank so any and all aggression is going directly to the one fish instead of being dispersed thru multiple fish.

Btw I seen your mention of guppy grass in here, which would be a great floating plant to keep in the tank, another good floating plant to keep would be frog bit or dwarf water lettuce.

The guppy grass was in pieces i dumped it in and it sprEad out in littke individual strands. Looks more like a plant exploded

Ahh yeah not properly grown then. Sounds like they sold you trimmings of the plant rather then selling a fully formed plant. Sadly it's a common practice to make more money.

The lighter one is probably being attacked by the darker one they are pretty territorial. I agree more cover and stuff to help break line of sight. I had 3 in my 180 and I didn't realize but the larger more dominant one was harassing the other two over the whole tank. There was drift wood sticking out of the water surface and if the other two hid behind it he would leave them alone. Pretty aggressive fish. They are related to arowana and like alot of arowana don't always tolerate others of their kind. If you can get a male and a female to pair up they stay together for life hunting together and generally getting along. I have no idea how to tell the sexes apart.
