I currently have 1 in my tank now, doing very well, was thinking of adding a 2nd but was unsure of aggression issues although they had multiples in the tank at my LDS. Yes, no?

I have 2 in my 55 gallon tank. They don't seem to mind each other an stay on separate sides of the tank. As long as you have some floating plants or places to hide it should be fine. One of mine hangs behind my power head an the other hangs by some plants. Id say go for it

Apparently there will be some territoriality, but generally tolerate each other. Mike's suggestion of floating plants will break line of sight, which will probably be good. IME a little surface current is appreciated, though the literature tends to say no.

2 butterfly fish should be fine together. As mentioned, floating plants and any hiding areas are always a plus

I came home today an saw this. It made me think of this thread. You can see no problems here. Not that this happens very often but still cool
