African Butterfly Fish

Hello. My buddy just got a new African Butterfly Fish (first one) last night. It has been having feeding issues. It is kept in a 40g with 2 swordtails, several tiger barbs, albino shark, clown loach, 2 rosabara sharks, and 4 zebra danios. We have tried live crickets, frozen blood worms, and flakes all with no result. It was staring at the live cricket and looked like it was about too eat it then just swam backwards. Any help?

Okay. Thanks, but do I continue to put in crickets or just put one in and walk away till it eats it?
 
Make sure you vary diet for AFB with freeze dried blood worms, freeze dried meal worms,and freeze dried small shrimp such as mysis, or gammarus:). Live crickets are one of the favorites for AFB's

You could do that, when the AFB gets acclimated to your aquarium the cricket will eventually get eaten.:)
