When I woke up this morning I found my African Butterfly on the floor in front of it's tank becoming floor jerky. :irked: I really liked him. There is no way for him to have gotten out so it must of happened during last nights feeding and I never noticed. I liked him. I fed him bugs all the time. :irked:

That happened to me once. I had a nice maroon clown jump out of my 180 reef while feeding. Made me feel worse for not noticing. It had adapted to living in a big long tentacled anemone. Bad loss, but I replaced it with a "mated pair" of maroon clowns. They are hermaphroditic, so the female is always the big one. They soon took to the anemone.

The big loss was when I changed my bulbs and fried the anemone. That was irreplaceable. Tore the tank down not too long after that. I learned the hard way to cut down the amount of time the lights are on after you put in new bulbs for inverts.

I had that happen with my 22 pound blue cat. That was a terrible day...
