So How can you sex Pantodon buchholzi? Are they like Mollies/Platy's (Spade=Female Point=Male) I know that's a sad way to explain.
Are they chewers, I gave mine some crickets and he/she seemed to spit it then swallowed it again.
Also, I know they like 7.0 pH to 6.5 pH but my water is sort of basic 7.8/8.0 pH will he do okay or do I need Peat?

Cloudy eye is sort of gone but there is still a small "water spot" on the eye and some body slime on the gills.....

Bump, is it possible that like Arowana; Butterflys are Mouth Brooders?
