So after searching google for an hour to no avail; I've decided to finally break down and ask the Monster guys.
I've come across a large group of african butterflys and was wanting to know the basics on the breeding. Really, I just need to know how to sex them, the ph, waterhardness, and what they want to lay the eggs on. And if they need any sort of stimulus to start their breeding. Any input helpfull. Thanks

First you need a fairly large tank, 55g is okay for a few but a 50g long that is 18" wide would be better. The tank should be 6-6.5 pH, and 74-88 F. Tank should be well planted with plants that mat near surface such as elodea.Leave clear water corridors between plant clumps. Little current is preferred. Feed well to condition for breeding using gut loaded small crickets, mosquito wrigglers, and guppy fry. The eggs flaot.

sexing is easy the anal fin in the male is highly curved and the females isnt
