Now I understand these are not Arowana, however they are osteoligiformes so....I'm planning to get these from my LFS soon to put in a 55gal.
Are they okay to be in a trio? and is there a way for me to put them on massivore floating carni sticks or would cichlid pellets, or even flakes work out?
Also, alot of places say they get to 4" but someone on another site he had some at 6" is that possible.

Last thing, would they be CB or WC?

WC definitely...I got mine eating dried krill. Trio is ok if you've got enough space.

i have heard 4-6" but i have not owned one yet...i am not sure on the foot print for them...i am sure you could get them eatting pellets

Yeah, that size would be fine.

i think so...i was thinking about a 20gal for 1 fish...but i'm not sure...maybe someone can answer this for sure

Mine is very pick. it will only eat crickets I drop right on its mouth. I've tried all the tricks in the book with no success. Good Luck.

Mine eats crickets, guppies, or even flakes. I never tried to give him flakes, because I didn't think he'd eat them, but when I was feeding my other fish, he was all over him.

Are you talking about this fish?

mine is 3 inches I have had him for just shy of a year about 3-4 inches long...he hasn't grown much since I got him...and he is living happily in a 10 gal...(soon to be bigger cause I want more haha)
Make sure you have a tight fitting lid! they can jump.
Mine eats freeze dried blood worms mostly, but he also likes crickets and spiders...he will eat 4-6 small crickets in one sitting haha
