African cichlid 55 gallon attempt

so i bought 2 afr. cichlids a acei and a Kenyi, So far there doing good and they like the rocks i put in there, here is some of my aquascaping. Can anyone give tell me what to use to paint the back aquarium glass wall. I want to paint it black. Here is the pictures.....

I use a roller and regular flat black latex paint. Never done it with a full tank though...

You may just want to try taping up a black piece of paper to the back. I've had much success with that. I use the large rolls of bulletin board paper (my sister is an elem school teacher).

Tank looks good. Watch out for that kenyi though... they're mean as hell.

I would add a ton more fish. I've got a 55 that I originally only had 3 fish in and it was a brawl until I added another 6 fish and then got even better when I added another 6.

diy styrofoam backgrounds are really cool, problly be a pain in the neck to do now tho since you've already filled it and have fish. future reference maybe? but i agree with the latex black paint also, comes off easy with a razor if you dont like it. or simply buy a black background =]

Good luck, I always feel like cichlids need more room, started with a 30 moved to a 55 then got a 110 and they still seem to be bent on killing each other. I will bump them up to a 100 gallon breeder and hope that helps.
