Hello,
In my 450 gallon every this I put pseudotropheus larger than an inch i get lots of dead fish. I am wondering if the metriaclima and pseudotropheus are the problem or it is a coincidence? I have one 13 inch goldie pleco, one 6 inch L-600, one 3 inch L-97, 8 dragon peacock cichlids, 4 electric yellow labs, 4 OB peacock cichlids, 30 OB red empress, 7 red empress, 1 pair of venustus cichlids, 6 german red peacock cichlids, 4 poroitomon spilonotus tanzania, 4 julidochromis dickfeldi, 2 pseudotropheus greshakei, 1 Protomelas similis, 1 Neolamprologus brevis 4 Neolamprologus leleupi, 5 ruby red peacock cichlids, 1 2 inch stardust pleco, 4 red marble plecos, 2 clown plecos, 5 L-333 plecos, 2 butterfly plecos, 5 zebra obliquidens, 3 malawi eye biters, 1 trophus moori, 2 synodontis petricola, 2 lace synodontis, 2 synodontis pleurops, 1 synodontis erupterus, 40 jewl cichlids. There is 2 pseudotropheus greshakei in the tank right now but they are the smallest fish in the tank. I read venustus are very mean but they don't seem to pick on anything. [the venustus are 6 inches and they are living with fish smaller than 1/2 of an inch but they are well fed] [when I put a fish in the tank I have to get 200 pounds of rich out and then there is driftwood that the tank is built around that the fish hide behind that can't come out] Thanks.
