African cichlid help

Hello everyone,
I need help to differ these 2 cichlids. They were bought from 2 different stores. I believe the female silver cichlid is a OB Peacock with no color but I am not sure. My wife picked this one when I was not around and this male I picked from an assorted peacock cichlid aquarium. I think he is a Ruby Red or Red shoulder. Any info you can give will help because these 2 mated. I just want to find out the species of the mother and father for accuracy. Thank you everyone.

Looks like aulonocara stuartgranti "red shoulder" and a female aulonocara...sorry but I don't know what species...hard for me to differentiate most female peacocks. All I know is its not a OB peacock

might be a male red rubin and a female red empress. not sure though...

I don't think so malcolm, I have a female red empress and it has two horizontal lines, not one

-hold that thanks-it's a hybrid or ruby red(same difference)not a red shoulder,and the female looks like a hybrid also.....and clown-have you ever seen a red shoulder,or do you just have to type in something?

Idk about the Aulonocara, but the second picture looks like a female Protomelas sp. 'steveni imperial'.

I have seen a red shoulder but I am convinced it has both characteristics of a ruby red and a red shoulder to me. I have tried comparing it to pics I have found on the species and I was trying to find a second opinion before I clarify what it is. I am actually trying to start my own breeding thing out of my hobby. These two mated and I am curious to what they are going to look like. The baby fish are about 3 inches and some are turning bluish as their first color showing.

I thank everyone for helping me. I looked at some pictures I had found on the answers you's have given me on the female between a red empress and adsteveni imperial and I find them very close.
