I'm thinking about putting two of those beauty cats in my tank, the problem is that in there I've got AC, they are small comparing to the clarias. And finally the question, do you think they would be eaten up by an adult clarias ( having in mind that they are also adult) ?

Hey there, well I think it depends what kind of african do you have? Something like a venustus that gets big, or a average one that only gets like 6inch. A larger aftrican 12"+ might have a chance, but once the clarius gets big an average sized one doesn't have a chance. My buddy had a 18" clarius with 2 12" oscars and a 10-12" red devil and he killed all 3, plus a large pleco, couldn't eat em up, but made uick work of them, so IMO mixing them with africans probably won't work out long term

put them in and video it!!

i reckon the cichlids would last 5-10 minutes
