African cichlides in 10 or 20 gallon???

Any African cichlides that can be kept in a 10 or 20 gallon?

You can keep shelldwellers in a 10 or 20 long. 20 high are almost useless in my opintion. You could also keep a pair of Julidichromis in a 20 long.

I wouldn’t keep any in a 10. I think you could get away with some julies in a 20, transcriptus or dickfeldi. I have kept transcriptus in a 30 before. I currently have some brichardis that do not seem to get to big and are not aggressive but I have never kept them in anything smaller than a 55

Maybe shell dwellers. All I’ve used 10 gallons for is quarantine and growing out fry.

Shellie's are great. A little hard to find and can get pricey but when you get a good colony going they don't stop reproducing. Good luck!
